Help design Australia's new flag to represent the LGBTQ+ community

Calling all pride flag enthusiasts! LGBTQ+ Flags Australia is excited to announce that we will be hosting a competition for the best new pride flag to represent Australia. We believe that having a pride flag that represents Australia’s queer community and the diversity within it would be a great way to celebrate this pride month, as well as future ones to come.

The winner of this competition will receive the following:

1. $500 gift card to spend at lgbtqflags.com.au
2. Custom flag featuring the winning design

The winning design will be featured on our store, with part proceeds of every sale being donated to LGBTIQ+ Health Australia. .

To enter, all you have to do is submit your design along with a brief explanation of the flag’s meaning and symbolism used. Our team will review all entries and select a winner based on the following criteria:

1. Design of the flag
2. How the flag represents pride and Australia together
3. Originality
4. Overall impact

Terms and Conditions:

Entrants can enter a maximum of two entries into this competition.

Entrants must be located within Australia.

To enter the competition, submit your entry to competition@lgbtqflags.com.au with your name, preferred contact email and a PNG file of your design. 

Flag designs must be in PNG with a ratio of 2:3 and a minimum 300dpi.

The winner of the competition will be selected by the LGBTQ+ Flags Australia team on the 15th of May 2023at 5pm AEST. 

The winner of the competition will be contacted via their listed preferred email. If the winner doesn't respond within 7 days of winning the prize a new winner will be selected. 

Designs which infringe on third party intellectual property are disqualified.
